Mountain Prenj - Zelena glava peak

Prenj known as Herzegovinian Himalayas is one of the most beautiful mountain areas of the Dinaric Alps and has a natural environment. The most beautiful and most attractive mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina is surrounded by many natural and artificial lakes.
The peaks of Prenj are interesting and attractive for mountaineers who like to watch the landscapes covered with white snow and greenery. Through the history trails on this mountain were used by tobacco traders to transport tobacco from Herzegovina region to Bosnia, in order to place it on market and avoid police.

The highest peak is Zlena Glava (2155m), and there is more than ten peaks over 2000m. The wild beauty of Prenj, its extreme landscapes and the vastness of the territory make it a special attractive place to visit, not only for climbers, but for all those who love the mountain and nature.
