Mountains Maglić & Zelengora

Maglić is highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in National Park Sutjeska, at eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina on border with Montenegro.
With its 2386m and heart shaped Trnovacko lake in foothill makes it a real king of B&H mountains. Even in summer, Mt. Maglić often lives up to its name (Misty Mount). Challenging mountain hike to the summit it definitely worth of view. Experienced hikers, who have been well acquainted with this mountain, know all the irresistible power of their attraction. But they also know and always warn those inexperienced visitors fascinated by fantastic scenes on that dangerous, unpredictable side of the mountain.It's one among the demanding trails in our offer, recommended for those with basic knowledge and experience in mountaineering.
Zelengora, also located in National park Sutjeska, for many one of the most beautiful mountains in this area. Spacious, unobtrusive and covered in infinite green fields. Even though there are plenty of impressive peaks on Zelengora, it is somehow a gentle mountain, totally the opposite of Maglic, of which is the separated by deep canyon of Sutjeska river. The Zelengor's special charm gives its "mountain eyes" - clear glacial lakes, located at the very bottom of its peaks.
By the meanders of spacious meadows are shrubs of shepard's huts "katuni". Thousands of sheep cover Zelengora meadows from the end of May to half of September each year.
